Comfort with Cream and CoCo

I am an adult. 

If I want to take a quart of cream and turn it into a bowl of deliciousness, damn it, I will. 

This stuff is great!

So here ya go:

1 quart whipping cream

5 tablespoons powdered sugar

2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

1 cup semi-sweet Ghirardelli chocolate chips

1 tablespoon unsalted butter
 

Take small pan place on stove and set at a low temp and melt butter. Add chocolate. Stir mixture with spatula until chocolate has reached a paste texture.

Mix cream, powdered sugar, vanilla extract in a large bowl then, add melted chocolate mixture. Mix on high with a hand mixer until cream is whipped and sticks to a spoon without sliding off.

There should be slivers of chocolate throughout and a light brown hue to cream.

I add mine to a dark coffee for a sweet jolt and on top of our french toast and pancakes. It is also DELISH on a Colorado Bulldog or with Irish Cream mixes.
